This club has been a life-saver. It's given my husband an opportunity to go out, which he enjoys, and it's given me some freedom to have time for myself. Thank you.

I am so pleased that my relative has a place to visit regularly, where he finds friendship, kindness, care and support. Without the understanding help of the staff at the Conservatory Club, his life would be dull and colourless.

Discovering the Dementia Care Trust at the Conservatory Club was a wish come true. Probably the highlight of the day for my father, was embracing the delightful Pauline who, with tremendous care and patience, manages to entertain the group for 5 hours daily. Not only do the quiz games & musical entertainment provide brief mental stimulation but, most importantly, the sessions provided my mother with a much needed break.

The Conservatory Club has been a great help to me. My husband enjoys his two days there and it enables me to do some things for myself. The staff are caring and competent and offer stimulating activities.

My mother no longer leads an independent life and we were concerned she would lack social interaction with people her own age. The Conservatory Club provides a safe environment that promotes social skills and keeps her active. For me, the most important factor is that the staff and volunteers genuinely understand dementia, which is of huge comfort and support to us as a family.

Margaret, Bookham

My husband has vascular dementia and his memory has virtually gone but he asks when is it Club day. He calls it the "gentleman's club". He thoroughly enjoys it. The staff are brilliant looking after him - caring, patient, interested and a good sense of humour - all stars. Thank you
