King’s Coronation Celebrations
Our members celebrated the Coronation in May 2023 by attending a Special Event lunch at the Fairfield Centre. After lunch, the celebrations continued in the conservatory where we danced and sang the afternoon away.
Ashtead Rotary Village Day
The Trust had a stand at the Ashtead Rotary Village Day in June 2023, which we used as a promotional tool for the Club. ARVD can be a very expensive day out, especially with young children in tow, and we unashamedly attracted adult visitors to our stand by appealing to their children through the offer of free entry to a beanbag throwing game. We offered packets of sweets as prizes and, although there was no charge to play the game, we did have collecting tins on hand and a Sum-Up machine for donations by card payment!
